It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Ray Lachapelle on February 29, 2020 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Dearly loved husband of Rosemary (nee Richards). Loving father of Crystal (Patrick), John (Brenda), Catherine (Todd), Brian, Christine (Jerome), Tammy (Robert), Wanda (Matt), Trevor (Andrea), Navin (Lindsay), Natasha. Cherished grampa of many grandchildren. Dear brother of Joanne McAllister (Tom), Richard (Carolyn), Ivan (Christine), Charlie (Debbie), Michael, Pete (Diane) and Dave. He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his parents; Wilfred and Doris (nee Pulchinski), daughter Tracy, grandsons Daniel Beattie and Avery Lachapelle and his siblings Theodore (Teddy), Marcel (Doris) and Maurice (Cindy). As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at the 406 Wing on March 18, 2020 from 2 – 5 pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
