Rita (Gerolin) Azzano

Peacefully passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2022 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 89 years. Rita was the beloved wife of Bruno Azzano for 68 years and the loving mother to Loris (Carol), Maurizio (Becky) and Vanni (Jennifer).  She was the cherished nonna to Justin (Amanda), Darrin (Catalina), Talia, Sascia, Bradley (Samantha), Mark and Joel and bisnonna to Nate, Ella, Ben, Antonia and Marco.  Rita was the loving sister to Maria Catto (late Mario), Vilma Bottega (late Giovanni), the late Ottavio Gerolin (late Anna) and the late Carlo Gerolin (late Alma).  She is predeceased by her parents Angelo Gerolin and Teresa Gerolin (nee Prosdocimo). Rita was a devoted member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Davedi Club. She was well known for her delicious cooking, her love of gardening and her good company. Rita was a very special person and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The family will be receiving visitors at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption (North Bay) on Saturday April 30, 2022 between the hours of 10AM to 11AM.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 11AM.  If desired, donations to The North Bay Regional Health Care Centre Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com.
