Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Friday August 7, 2020 at the North Bay Regional Health Care Centre at the age of 55 years. Robert is remembered by many as a kind and helpful man. Whether it was through his work with the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority, or his many friendships, Robert displayed dedication and generosity. A teacher and mentor, Robert acted as a father to his own and to others in need. He will be missed by many. Robert was the loving husband to Anna Palin and cherished father to Michael Palin (Rylee), Nicholas Palin and Gino Palin. Robert is survived by and will be fondly remembered by his siblings Lily Ramsey (Bruce), Danielle Lahaie (Antoine) and Lynn Palin (Doug). Robert is predeceased by his Mother Aline Palin. As per Robert’s wishes, Cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. If desired, donations to the ALS Society of Canada in Robert’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
