Roger Lemieux

Mr. Roger Lemieux passed away peacefully at the Temiscaming Health Centre, March 15th, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Son of Laureat Lemieux and Annette Boucher. He was predeceased by his wife Madeleine Vaillancourt. Loving father of daughters, Louise Lemieux and Monique Lemieux (Jim McCallum). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Katherine McCallum (Edies Dimza), Terry McCallum (McKinsie Skeens), Thomas Ghanem (Aurora Severin), Marcus Ghanem and great granddaughter Briar Ghanem. He is survived by his brother Laurent Lemieux (Eleanor). Also predeceased by his sisters Lucille McKay (Butch), Rejeanne Thorne and brothers Marcel Lemieux (Laurette) and André Lemieux (Rejeanne). He also leaves behind his lifelong partner Cecile Fortin (OChanany), her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, affectionately known to them as “Grampa”. Roger will be remembered as a person who loved life; all people and had a special place in his heart for animals. He believed to be of service to his fellow man and involvement in the community. His passions were fishing with friends and a good poker game. He loved his family deeply as he leaves behind many nieces and nephews. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, Doctors and nurses at the Temiscaming Hospital Health Centre. We appreciate their great care and concern. With the Covid-19 restrictions of social distancing and the requirement of the wearing of a mask, the family will receive visitors at  Paroisse Ste-Theresa's Church in Temiscaming Quebec on Saturday August 28, 2021 from 10 am -11am.
