Roger Minor

Minor, Roger  (January 25th, 1950 – August 20th, 2020)

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday August 20th, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Roger was the loving husband to Aureanna Minor (nee Lamontagne). Beloved father to Jeffrey Minor (Amanda) and Steven Minor (Lucette). Cherished grandfather to Krystal (Derek), Chelsey (Curtis), Jenna and Julia as well as a great grandfather to Sylis and Spencer. Roger is survived by his brothers Neldo (Georgette) and Lionel (Rollande) and by his sisters Evelyn (late Roger), Madeleine (late Norman),Manda (late O’Neil) and June (late Renal). Predeceased by his parents Edward Minor and Delina Minor (nee Levesque) and by his brothers Jerry (late Anna), Albert (Martha) and Max (Jean). Visitation will be held at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) Friday August 28th, 2020  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If desired donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly acknowledged by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com In accordance with current directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario regarding COVID 19 (https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-changes-to-funeral-and-visitation-attendance/ ) the total number of attendees is limited, and additional precautions are in place. Au centre Régional de santé de North Bay, le jeudi 20 août 2020, à l’âge de 70 ans, M. Roger Minor est décédé paisiblement, entouré de sa famille. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Aureanna Minor (née Lamontagne) et ses fils, Jeffrey Minor (Amanda) et Steven Minor (Lucette). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants, Krystal (Derek), Chelsey (Curtis), Jenna et Julia en plus de ses arrière-petits-enfants Sylis et Spencer. Survécu par ses frères Neldo (Georgette) et Lionel (Rollande) et par ses sœurs Evelyn (feu Roger), Madeleine (feu Norman), Manda (feu O’Neil) et June (feu Renal). Prédécédé par ses parents Edward Minor et Delina Minor (née Levesque) et par ses frères Jerry (feu Anna), Albert (Martha), et Max (Jean). La famille Minor recevra les condoléances le vendredi 28 août 2020 de 10 h 00 à 13 h 00 au Salon Funéraire McGuinty (North Bay). Les dons à la Fondation du rein seront grandement appréciés.
