It is with great sadness that we announce Romeo’s peaceful passing at Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Mignonne (Ethier) DelGuidice and loving father to Tiffany Del Guidice, Gregory Delguidice, Jennifer DelGuidice (Richard), and Brigitte DelGuidice. Loving grandfather to Dustin, Nathan, Hannah, Isabelle, Cedric, Brianna, and Amy and great-grandfather of Hailey, Daxton, and Landon.
Predeceased by his parents Nunzio and Annette (Dumouchel) DelGuidice, and his brother Roland ‘Roly’ DelGuidice. Romeo will be missed by his sister Collette Endress (Paul), his sister-in-law Beverly DelGuidice, his daughter-in-law Andrée Delguidice, several nieces, nephews and the many friends whose hearts he touched.
Romeo was born in Timmins, ON, spent his childhood and youth in Mattawa, ON where he met his sweetheart, Mignonne. His work took him to Sault Ste Marie, Val d’Or, QC and Québec City before settling back in the North Bay area.
Rev. Mr. Romeo DelGuidice p.d. was a Roman Catholic Deacon for over 30 years and active member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church in Callander, ON.
He was a proud 4th degree member of the Knight of Columbus.
The family will be receiving visitors at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church (Callander) on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 between the hours of 5:00pm and 8:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 11:00am. Donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice, St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church – Building Fund, or North Bay Regional Health Centre – Dialysis would be greatly appreciated by his family.
