Russell Harvey Ratz

Russell passed away peacefully surrounded by his family as he celebrated Christmas with them on December 25, 2021, at his residence in North Bay. Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Buckley) Ratz. Loving step-father to Tom Montgomery, Tim Montgomery (Christina), Terry Montgomery, and Tracy Michauville (Craig). Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Ian, Kimberly, Nathan, Stephanie, Payton, Kaya and Kennedy. Russ was predeceased by his parents Rueben and Grace (nee McFadden) Ratz and is survived by his sisters Beulah (Dave-deceased), Shirley Yearington (Ivan -deceased) and Carol Desjardins (Emile-deceased). The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday January 3, 2022, between the hours of 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be conducted at the Lakeshore Missionary Church (656 Lakeshore Drive) on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at 11am. Cremation will follow at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jinnah the Nurses and the wonderful PSW’s that cared for Russ.
