After a courageous battle Theresa passed away surrounded by the love and presence of her family, extended family, and her many friends at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Saturday October 30, 2021, at the age of 58 years. Beloved and cherished mother to Cassandra Boulet (Geoff) and Carly Boulet. She is predeceased by her mother Sandra and will be always remembered and loved by Claude Boulet and the countless great friends she had.
Theresa's home was a "hub,” It was a warm environment where she loved to gather with all of her many unique and amazing friends who she loved like family. Generous, warm and welcoming, there was always room for one more at her table. That is how she lived and her welcoming spirit lives on in all who knew her. This legacy comforts us in our grief.
Theresa had an uncontestable zest for life with amazing wit to match. She loved to laugh and certainly knew how to make everyone around her laugh as well. She loved to travel. The ocean was her second home. She certainly was a true water baby.
Theresa had a passion for gardening. She was blessed with a special type of green thumb. She loved to sing and was always jamming to music, or playing the harmonica- In turn making any floor her dance floor. Theresa was the thrifting queen and her ability to repurpose garage sale treasures was legendary. She had a knack for always finding a diamond in the rough. She was the life and soul of any party and she conversely found peace and harmony with the simple things in life including: fishing, basking in the sunshine, practicing yoga and sitting by a fire with a glass of wine. She was especially happy in the company of her grand dog Remy - who sat with her during her final days.
Theresa had a passion for people and it was reflected in her work as a ward clerk at NBRHC with 25 years of service and 2 golden heart awards. In the end, we are better people for having known you. It hurts to say goodbye with so much left unfinished -
"The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot".
