Viria "Vi" Ann (Gervias) Rapkoski

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Cassellholme on Monday  June 14, 2021 at the age of 99 years.  Vi was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Rapkoski and the loving mother to Dennis Rapkoski (Cindy), Judy Avery , the late Diane Fortier (Maurice), Sharon Symons (Terry) and Sandra Dowdall. Vi was the cherished grandmother to Trevor (Brenda), Shaun, Stacey (Jason), Shannon (Jon), Amanda (Brad), Melissa (Matthew) and Lindsay (Steve) and great- grandmother to her many great- grandchildren. Vi is predeceased by her parents Frank Gervais and Ellen Gervais (nee O’Brien), siblings Catherine Power, Sr. Helen Gervais (Grey Sisters of Pembroke), Clifford Gervais, Sr. Dorothy Blimkie and Sr. St. Margaret Gervais and grandchildren Brian Rapkoski and Stephanie Fortier.  As per Vi’s wishes, a private family service will be held followed by a Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.  Online Condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
