William "Bill" Joseph Thibeault

The family sadly announces the unexpected passing of Bill on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Nipissing Manor at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Noella (nee Laplante) Thibeault. Loving father to Roger Thibeault (Nicole) of British Columbia, Nicole Thibeault (Dan) of British Columbia, and Suzanne Smith of North Bay. Cherished grandfather to Zachary, Callum and Scarlett. Bill was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Cecile (nee Poitras) Thibeault, his brothers Raymond, Simon and Henry and his sister Paulette. He is survived by his brothers Norman Thibeault (Marne), Len Thibeault (Ellen), Orville Thibeault (Alice), Michael Thibeault, Richard Thibeault (Sue), and Denis Thibeault (Nancy). Bill had a long career with the TransCanada Pipeline, and in his earlier days loved to fish and hunt. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, between the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Paroisse Saint-Vincent-De-Paul on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium.
