So very sorry for your loss. It was a privilege knowing Vern. I have fond memories of growing up in Tilden Lake with Vernon and all the gang. I was then fortunate to be reacquainted with Vernon as he was a frequent passenger on my city bus. He was a kind heated gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Vernon's passing. As children playing together, he was always happy, active and upbeat --- and I remember that he sure loved his Mountain Dew :) Thank you for posting all of the wonderful photos as they show Vernon retained his lovely disposition and joy of life.

Dear Jane and Family
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of Vern. Vern was a vibrant piece of the fabric that makes PADDLE what it is. He touched many people with his kindness and his passion. He was a great teacher to the participants , the supports and placement students. He changed people, he challenged people's perception and he taught us that life can be vibrant and magical if we just let it. Thank you for that Vern. Your heart lives on in the people you touched.
