His family announces with sorrow, the peaceful passing of Amedée in his 101st year at Waters Edge Care Community (Leisureworld) with family members at his side on January 23, 2016. Survived by his dear wife of 73 years, Julie (nee Guillemette) Laperrière. Loving father of Marguerite Parker (Ron), Colette Laperrière, Suzanne Brock (Gordon), Paul Laperrière (Cynthia), and Roland Laperrière. Cherished grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Henriette Pigeau (Reginald-deceased). Predeceased by his son; Victor Laperrière (Murielle- surviving) and his siblings; Alda Gauthier (Laurent), Armand Laperrière (Rhéa- surviving), Sarah Desrosiers (Armasse) and Maurice Laperrière (Marie-Anne). Special thank to Leisureworld Pier II staff for their loving kindness, support and care during his stay. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 7 -9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 10:30 am.
