DEVUONO, Armand

Passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his wife Clare (nee Schiavo) Dearly loved father of Robert DeVuono and Linda DeVuono. Dear brother of Frank (June), Aldo (Maria) and Guido (Tina). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Teresina and Gaetano, his brothers; Joseph, Alfred, Luigi, Florindo and sisters; Lidia and Ida. Armand came to Canada in 1950 and married the love of his life Clare in 1954. Armand worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, mushroom picking and wine making. He was an avid sports fan and loved soccer, hockey, Formula 1 Car Racing and wrestling. He took pride in a job well done. Family will be receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME (North Bay) on Friday September 4th, 2015 from  2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated St. Peter the Apostle Church on Saturday at 10a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
