Sister Nora is predeceased by her parents, brothers Patrick (Gloria), Frank (Doreen), Garry (Gwen), Michael (Rosella), Vernon, Douglas (Merle) and Gordon (Vivian), and her sisters Beatrice Monaghan (Gene), and Lois Dawson (Warren). She is survived by her brother Lawrence (Anna) and sisters Dorothy Raymond (Peter deceased) and Elizabeth (Betty) McClymont (David), and many cherished nieces, nephews and their families. Sister Nora received her Secondary School Commercial Diploma from the Sudbury Mining and Technical School and was then employed by the Bank of Nova Scotia in Sudbury, prior to entering the Sisters of St. Joseph from her home parish, Holy Trinity in September 1949.  After completing the novitiate, and Teachers College in North Bay, Sister Nora taught in the elementary school panel in Elliot Lake, Fort William (Thunder Bay) and Schreiber.
