Champagne, Susan (nee Betz)

Susan passed away suddenly at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on December 30th, 2017 at the age of 59 years.  Susan was the cherished daughter of Roger and Marilyn Betz, loved mother of  Lyndsay (Darrell) and Megan (Luke), and dear sister to David Betz (Laurie).  She was the proud Grandmother to Brayden, Cody, Noah and Ethan.  She will be forever remembered by Marc Champagne.  Susan will be greatly missed by her extended family, the caring and devoted staff at Community Living, who brought joy to her life for more than 25 years.  Susan faced many challenges in life. She loved people and, despite her many hardships, nothing could dim the brilliance of her fabulous smile that greeted everyone she came in contact with.  The family of Susan will be receiving visitors on Thursday January 4th, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm at McGuinty Funeral Home in North Bay with a celebration of Susan’s life to follow in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. Refreshments to follow.  The family of Susan would like to thank Dr. Jim Vigars for many years of complicated medical care.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Living North Bay or a charity of choice in Susan’s name would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
