Peacefully passed away at Eastholme Home for the Aged on November 22, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Ralph. Loving mother of Robert ‘Bob’ (Betty). Cherished grandma of Matthew (Andrea), Mark (Megan), Michelle (Chad) and great-grandma of Abigail, Holden and Jane. Predeceased by her parents; Ovila and Hermine (nee LaViolette) and by her brother Valois Robert. Raye was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 50 years. She also was a member of the North Bay Golden Age Club and the North Bay Curling Club. As per her wishes cremation has taken at Whispering Pines Funeral Homes Crematorium. A memorial mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Friday November 27, 2015 at 11 am. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family. Rayes’ family would like to extend a huge heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Cowan and the entire staff at Eastholme for their compassion and exceptional care of Raye.
