Welcome to the memorial page for

Roseanne Mary Milne

April 1, 1943 ~ January 14, 2017 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Roseanne "Rosie" Mary Milne, 73 (nee Nichols)

Roseanne Milne, 73, of North Bay, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Born April 1, 1943 in Trenton, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Norman Nichols.  She was also predeceased by her two lovely sisters; Deborah (husband Val) and Kathy (late husband Vic) of Simcoe, Ontario.

Rosie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Keith Milne. Together they raised three sons; Tyler, Brian (wife, Paula-Marie) both of North Bay, and Steven (partner, Tonya) of Toronto.  She is also survived by three grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, Braedon, Anna and Grace. She also had many nieces and nephews that were close to her from both sides of the family, in particular, Derek "D.J" John Kortschaga of B.C and his sister; Kathleen Kortschaga of North Bay who were very supportive during her final days.

Rosie was always a ray of sunshine on even the cloudiest day.  Her perpetual optimism and love for her family kept her going.  Every time she would see her kids or grandkids, the twinkle in her eye and the smile on her face would say it all.  She knew she was loved and made every effort to return it.  She also had a love and talent for making amazing food.  This passion was evident every time she started cooking her famous sauce as the neighbours would come knocking.

She has now moved on to be with her parents and sisters so their family can be together once again.  She is at peace.

The family would also like to extend a very special 'Thank-you' to Dr. Howard Eckler who played a very active role with Rosie for many decades. You were as much a friend to her as a physician.

Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday February 4, 2017 from 10 am till time of service in the chapel at 1 pm.

We will miss you, Rosie!  You will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.  xxx, ooo. Take care Texas, it is no longer just you and I.

Donations to a charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated by her family. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
