Dear Lorri & Family: Our heartfelt and deepest sympathy to all at this time. Al was an amazing man and a wonderful friend to all who knew him. We shared a lot of laughs in the break room down in 'the hole'. Al was a great airman and a credit to the military and the Air Force. He always had a smile and a kind word whenever we crossed paths. OMG, we are so sorry to hear about Al passing!!!...... Just when it seemed he had beat the CANCER operation!!!!....... Lorri we are so so sorry for you and your family's loss!!...... Al was a great friend and a true professional Airman......... It was a real privilege working along side Al during his military career and later during his retirement years......... Joy and I are remiss that we can't attend Al's memorial service, since we're in Florida now, but please know that we are praying for you??....... Words fail us at this time of grief and sorrow on the occasion of Al's death. We can only hope you can understand our feelings at this time, as we can hardly understand yours.
Bar none, the best neighbour anyone every had for 26 years. We shovelled a lot of snow and cut a lot of lawns together. Will miss that 3 o'clock quitting time, and the "looks good from 40000".
