He will be truly missed at Lu Lu's ..a.k.a Callander Tavern.

Please accept my condolence for your loss. I remember Scott as a kid when we went to school together at Adelaide Hoodless. I wish I had got to know him as an adult.

To the Marlatt family;
I just heard about Scott Marlatt's passing and wanted to leave my condolences. My husband Rick Thomas who is deceased and I worked for Scott at the Marlatt Funeral Home in Hamilton since 1978. Our family had many vacations at Marten River Lodge. Scott's quiet but humorous nature left us with many fond memories. Thanks Scott and rest well, you were a great guy.

Dear Tim: Very sorry to hear of Scott's death last week. If it wasn't for Scott, I may not have been back in the funeral industry. He had a great respect for the old Marlatt-Dermody working relationship, and I benefited from his kindness. A true gentleman, and great guy to work for. Sorry to read this sad news about Scott. We all grew up together on Dalewood/Oak Knoll in Hamilton and I have wonderful memories of the Marlatt brothers. My thoughts are with you at this time.

I was very saddened to learn of the passing of my old, dear friend Scott. We went to high school together and I worked with him periodically at the funeral home when in my teens. my son and I spent a wonderful week at Marten River Lodge in the 90's. He was a gentle soul and a fine gentleman. Rest in peace my friend.
