Debbie/Paul, Karen/Dan, Steve, Donna/Len, What a blessing it was for me to know your Mom. The compassion she always showed me when I was at your house, at the rink refereeing Steve or when I was singing will always be remembered. My fondest memories of your Mom were when we did our east coast trip with Café Chantant when she played surrogate Mom to all of us. You know your Mom is loved by her kids when Steve told me he was going to get into three fights in the first period when he played for the Wolves and in the Bay against the Cents so he could watch the remainder of the game sitting beside his Mom in the stands. I actually laughed so hard breaking up his first fight when he told me so that the Nugget caught both Steve and me in a picture which was on the first page of the sports page the following Monday. Mrs. McCharles was a supper lady and I hope all of the great memories will help all of you through this tough time. Please know I am thinking of all of you. Gold Bless!
