Maureen was a best friend over many years. When I came to North Bay 1959 Maureen welcomed me in my new job at St Joseph's Hospital .A caring outstanding and principled staff nurse she made my job easier. I was blessed. We quickly became friends and eventually neighbours My family including my parents and brother in England felt we were part of the extended Pelletier family. We had so many great times together. Julie, Peter, Jeffrey ang Quinn know that we loved your Mother and our lives were enriched by all of you. Sincere sympathy to all of you and your families. My sincere sympathy to the Pelletier family.
Maureen was a maternity nurse when I was a student nurse and then as an employee at St. Joseph's Hospital and later as one of her patients. She was unfailingly kind with a great sense of humour which meant a lot to both students and patients alike while maintaining excellent professionalism. Even years later when we would meet by accident or coincidence she was always so friendly with an amazing smile.
Just wanted to share a memory about how she touched my life as well as I am sure many others. She was a great lady and I am sure she will be missed.
