Carol and I were very sorry to learn of Mike's death. Our sympathy is extended to Susan and family. Mike and I started our judicial careers in Brampton and became close colleagues. He was an excellent judge, fair, thoughful and considerate. His generosity to others was extended to my family when he gave us the use of his cottage for a vacation. We will remember him always

My sincere condolences to the Bolan family. Mike's kind way with people and his patient demeanor on the bench made him a wonderful judge and colleague. I was saddened to learn of his death but heartened to know that he has found peace. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Dear Sue and family: Our condolences on the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. Like every one with whom he engaged, he cherished each and everyone of you. He was a superb litigator and humane judge and his talents will be remembered by the Ontario legal community. MIke's courageous battle to live was a lesson to all who knew him.
