Dear cousins,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Paddy! We all shared so many great childhood memories with you all on Morin Street! Life moves on far too quickly! Paddy was a gentle and sweet soul, reminded me of your mom. Last time we spoke was when he came to Worthington Street after my dad died.
God Bless!

Dear Moe,
Thank you for thinking of us. I remember you as a talented musician so might I ask that in the near future you use your beautiful voice to sing a song in Paddy's honour. You might also want to raise a glass and toast his and our grand Irish roots.
We wish you the very best.

My condolences, Gary, Joanne, Michelle & Andrea. I was sadden to hear Patty had passed away. A lot of memories had been made at your house on Morin. Recalling the Liberty, Lucenti, Veltri, Valenti , Johnson, Davidson, Souliere & Mathews families.
We had a lot of fun growing up. Paul was a close friend for years and we still ran into each other at different times in recent years. He will be missed. François

I'm so sad to hear of Paddy's passing. He remains a steadfast memory of my Morin Street days. I remember as a child sitting on the front steps of your house, eating smelts that Paddy would fry, batch after batch. We'd sit there chatting, plates on our laps, working away at our smelts, opening them carefully, lifting out the bone in one piece. Probably with the cat nearby. He was so good to my mom, always stopping by to see her. And she was always there to help him one way or another, whether it was talking him down off the roof when he lost his nerve after going up the ladder to fix something, or feeding him, or his beloved cat. I think he liked that he shared her birthday. Family not by blood, but by community. My very heartfelt condolences go out to Garry, Joanne, Michele and Andrea. I will always remember him.

Dear Cathy,
What a beautiful memory! You expressed it so well, we can smell the smelts! Lol Thank you Cathy for sharing with us. We had lovely visits with Gina, Peter and your mom at the services. Shirley played an important role in Paddy's life and we are so very grateful to her. Memories of Paddy's unselfish love will ease our sorrow.

Dear members of the Gratton Families….Garry, Joanne, Michèle, Andréa. We are sadden by the loss of Paddy(Paul). Morin Street has been the foundation of our lives raised in such a creative time in the 1960’s. We remember all of you so clear in mind as yesterday is today and our hearts feel your painful loss . Paddy had an inventive way of helping others motivated to bring out the best in everyone he met. Your family is loved for your long community spirit, friendships, teachings and even the speciality of babysitting from the Gratton Girls. Your home was comfort and table games where always a match, especially Clue board game. Your family lived next door to my grand fathers (The Veltri's) with neighbors Valenti's, Davidson, Liberties, Lucenti's and Johnson's to name a few. Morin street lights have dimmed to the drifting echo's of children's voices we once knew. My thoughts remember so much of our past, as I step back for a moment to reflect how lively priceless enjoyable fun we really had. Today we are with you in prayer, tomorrow remember and remain your childhood friends till the end of time. Joey Souliere/Veltri Families. God Bless all of you......
