Ron will be missed by all of us who ever had the pleasure of knowing him and flying alongside. He was one of the Royal Canadian Air Force 445 Sqn pioneers who was part of the team that ferried our CF-100's (all weather, jet interceptor, aircraft) from Ottawa to Marville, France, in November 1956. The last time we raised our glasses on high was at a squadron reunion in Ottawa in 2012. At that time, just short of his 90th birthday, he was our senior wolverine.
On behalf of all 445 Sqn aviators and spouses, sincerest condolences to his daughter, Barb and all other family members.
