I haven't known Ron for long but I recognized a creative soul when he shared his art, his woodworking and his garden with Peter and I. I suspect that after he has a rest, the Lord will put him to work carving a new podium for St. Peter to stand behind when he greets newcomers at the gates of heaven. I picture a beautifully crafted piece made with a variety of inlaid wood, with vines and flowers carved along the edges and live beautiful hollyhocks growing behind it. His wife Paulette, his mother Sylvia, his sister Diane and the rest of the family will miss him greatly but he will be waiting on the 'other side' for all of you. Just look for the hollyhocks waving in the wind.
